Quincey's strength!

Good evening! I just spoke with Michele. Quincey is doing really well. She is always in good spirits. Her appetite is getting better. She is up on an average of 8 to 10 hours per day.

Quincey has been staying very very busy with therapy but she misses you all. All of her therapists are very impressed with her strength!

Quincey misses getting texts from everyone! (OK all.... lets fill up her text message inbox!!)

"Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord." 2Peter 1:2

"Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the woman who takes refuge in Him."
Psalm 34:8

God's blessings and love to you all,

Shari

  5. Just remembered...after you paste the first link, in your browser, you can just go to the end and where it says /1.jpg, you can change the 1 to a 2, then a 3, all the way to 26. That might be easier than pasting all 26 pictures.

Feel free to copy/print/whatever you want with them. ;) I'm sorry they aren't clearer.

Oh...and Shari, congratulations on you new house too! ;) Good job to your hubby too for going back to therapy! ;) :) I'm thrilled for y'all!

    Much love Quincey & all...L

  7. Hi Guys!

I was trying to think of a way to give you both something different to think about and maybe get you to giggle.

This might do it. Here are a few interesting facts about the human body.

A pair of human feet have 500,000 sweat glands and can produce more than a pint of sweat a day. No wonder they call them sweat socks.

In a lifetime an average person produces about 25,000 quarts of saliva. They say it's enough to fill a swimming pool.

The average person passes gas 14 times a day and everyday (now this is disgusting)we swallow about a quart of snot.

Quincey, do they teach you that in school? I can't believe someone actually compiled these statistics. What's even funnier is I'm sending them to you. The things we will do to entertain you both!

    Love to All,
    Teresa

  8. Hey Quincey--

It sounds like you have been really busy and working really hard. It is great to hear that your strength is so good, we always knew you were a strong person, just in your daily life, we can only imagine how strong and determined you must be now!!!

It is another cold, snowy day here. Once in a while the sun peaks through. I am hoping it will come out long enough to melt the snow off before school gets out. I usually don't mind shoveling too much, but I have a lot to do tonight after work. We are having a Cyber Crimes Safety presentation at the Middle School tonight. We are trying to educate students and parents about the dangers of My Space and Face Book and also educate them on bullying and harrasement using text messages and e-mails. I hope we have a good turn out. I think it is a pretty important topic.

I am glad the weather has turned a little colder though. We tried to go ice fishing on Rifle Gap last weekend, but with all the rain we have had lately and the warm days, it looked a bit scary out there. There was a lot of water on top the ice, with big cracks going through it. We also could not find a safe place to get on the ice from shore. The water had come up so much that the sides of the lake were looking very soft. Tim said there was no way he was going out there!! We ended up going over to Harvey Gap, which was not a bad thing, we REALLY got into some nice sized perch there. We really enjoy ice fishing though and are not quite ready to give it up. The colder temps should give us a little more time. We are hoping to go out again on Saturday, maybe Sunday afternoon too, but we need to be back to watch the Super Bowl!! I am rooting for the Steelers with Will's wife Jessica. She is from PA and a HUGE Steelers fan. Tim is going for the Cardinals just to keep it interesting:) He says we can't all be on the same side, its not as much fun, thats OK with us though, we figure everyone needs someone rooting for them!!!!

Speaking of which, you have sooooooo many people here rooting for you!!!! We love you dearly and are here for you if you need anything!!

Keep up the hard work Quincey, we are so very proud of you!!!

    Love,

    Lisa
