New Information

Good evening. I'm sorry it took me so long to get an update to you all but I had to go back to work today.

Anyway, I just spoke with Michele about an hour ago. Quincey's oxygen levels today were a little low but with increased breathing treatments the issue seems to be resolving. I don't think that it is something to be overly concerned about but let's pray for her breathing.

Shane and Michele were able to get into the Ronald McDonald house last night...WAHOO! The house is a 5 minute walk from the hospital!

Michele said that tomorrow Quincey should hopefully be moved out of ICU.

She also said that because of the length of time it seems to be taking to receive mail down there, please hold any cards or letters until they return to Colorado. Quincey is enjoying the blog and the comments so please keep them coming. As soon as I know they are transferring her, I will update the blog with all relevant addresses.

They love each and every one of you and appreciate the prayers and good thoughts.

  6. Hey Quincey! Sounds like you're doing quite well. I read all the comments as well as the blog and realize what an important young woman you are to so many. I just wanted to remind you that during those moments when you can't be strong, when you are struggling and sad, or anxious, it's okay. You don't always have to be strong, because when You are weak, HE is strong. When you are weary He will carry you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. He is Faithful. Rest in Him Quincey. You are in our prayers.....Cathy Rossilli

  12. Just to make you (maybe!) smile sunshine...

    Basketball Joke of the Day

"He's great on the court," a sportswriter said of a college basketball player in an interview with his coach. "But's how's his scholastic work?" "Why, he makes straight A's," replied the coach. "Wonderful!" said the sportswriter. "Yes," agreed the coach, "but his B's are a little crooked."

Much love & many prayers for you all...;)

(Shari, thank you for keeping this blog up. ;) You're hired!)

  13. Dear Quincey and Snyder family,

As soon as I saw the email from Kathy Goodman with your name in the subject line, I didn't want to open it up. Sometimes I hate my intuition, but other times it comes in real handy, since I know deep within that you will get through this, and the next time that I'm lucky enough to return to Colorado to see you, I'll see you walking towards me to give me a big hug. Anyone that can knock me off my feet playing a pick-up game of 4th grade basketball can definitely overcome any obstacles that are put in her way. I feel so blessed that you are a part of my life, and it looks as if that blessing is shared by many. You're in my prayers at all times, and I can't wait to see you again and get that big hug. Lots of love! Mrs. Steele

  14. "Then will you call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and He will say: Here am I." Isaiah 58:9

Yes, school was different without you - quieter (JK!) but not as much fun. I missed seeing your sweet face. Since Texas beat Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl (I was subbing for Shafer because he went there), we left him a nice picture on the chalkboard. It was a big set of longhorns with the Ohio State "O" hanging from one of them. He'll probably hunt me down! I am praying that you will have a great afternoon. I'm praying for your whole family, each one individually. Like everyone else, I'm here ready to do anything that would help any of you. Just say the word. Psalms 18:28 says "You, O Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light." That is among much of God's Holy Word that I am claiming for you guys. He also said - the righteous man, (that's you because you are His!) may have many troubles but that He delivers us from them ALL. Hugs again...Deb

  15. Hi Buddy,
I have already talked to your mom this AM but I am just a crazy Aunt who can’t get enough of her little Buddy! You are so loved, even more than me – ha, ha! Just kidding! I have been reading your blog and the wonderful thoughts and words that people I don’t even know say about my second daughter. You are an amazing young lady!!! I have been doing a lot of memory thoughts the last day or two and have been giggling about a few of them. Like the one time when you and I were doing dishes and you insisted on having your dad’s safety goggles on! You never know how dangerous doing dishes can be! I wish I could find that picture to send to you. Another time was when we would play in the little irrigation ditch outside of Villa West with Lynds and Sammers. And, when we would blow bubbles and Sam would bite them. And, all of the cookie dough ice cream we ate – I am shocked we don’t weigh 300 pounds! Our neighbor has an extra ipod that she is going to let me us for you. Chad (I can’t figure it out!) is going to put all of our healing scripture CD’s and songs on it for you so you can meditate on that. I’ll have to throw in some oldies here and there for good keeping! Well bud, have a GREAT day and we are excited to see you CO! Please know that you are never alone and you can cry out for Jesus and He is always there! You can do ALL things through Christ who gives you strength!!!

  17. Quincey, Shane, and Michele,
We just wanted to send you a line and let you know we continue to pray for your full recovery and we want you to know that we know first hand how awesome our God is!! When Ella was in the hospital having open heart surgery all we could do was hand her over to God and ask him to make her 100% whole and he did just that. The power of prayer is a wonderful thing!! We then continued to pray over her everyday and he restored her and she exceeded what any doctors said she would or could do and continues at the small age of 3yrs to do just that and amaze everyone. That is you Quincey and I know because you and your family have a strong faith in God he will get you through this tough time.

"If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer"

With all our love and prayers,

I am so sorry to hear about your accident. You are in our prayers as is your whole family. Keep leaning on Christ and he will bring you through this difficult time. Remember he only gives you what he knows you can handle.

Thank-you for sharing the prayer request about that young man that is also dealing with the same type of injury. He and his family are also in our prayers. Quincey, it says alot about your character that you are concerned about this young man and his family during your own recovery. Thank-you for being such a positive role model for other teens.

  19. Hi Buddy,
I just got done with class and am excited to write you again today!! We are committed to praying for a spot for you to be moved to CO. Just remember, you have favor everywhere you go – You are God’s child (not to be boastful or proud, but you are the daughter of the Almighty KING!!) You just bless as many people in Florida as you can in the next day or two, and let them all know you are going home. Buddy, please do not feel you have to do all of this on your own strength. You have Jesus on the inside of you and call on His strength to pull you through! God knows I have been calling on Him a lot lately to pull me through, and I am not even in Florida! I told your mom last night that I have been really excited/anxious for you. It’s not like a worry excited/anxious but a joyful feeling, so I know that your testamony is coming!!! I want you to know that people haven’t forgotten about you or your mom and dad! Everyone still asks about all of you and asks how they can help, and I say, “Keep up the prayers because she is coming home 100% recovered and whole!!!” When you are feeling down or like you can’t do this, just begin to praise Him and the blessing will start pouring down. God moves by praise and thanksgiving! I walked all over Wal-Mart yesterday morning at 6AM praying and thanking God for healing you to 100% (if anyone say me they probably thought I escaped from Pueblo - ha, ha) and by the time I left there, I could have ran to Florida (and you know how I HATE to run!) The joy of the Lord is your strength! Well, I had better take a shower (STINKY!!) and get those girlies up for school. We love you and pray for you morning, day and night! I will see in CO soon buddy – Oh, by the way, you have a free membership to ALL of my classes and personal training for the rest of your long life – OK!! That is if you want it (be careful, you may start to act like me – scary!!) With TONS of love and prayers,
Aunt Tara, Uncle Chad, Boob and Fartsack!

  20. Hi little buddy! I just really miss you and can't wait to meet you at the mall to buy you some clothes (ask your dad if you don't know what I mean!). Uncle Chad wanted to give you a scripture today - Rev. 12:11 I am an overcomer and I overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony. AND what a testimony you have!!! I love you buddy and love you too Shane and Michele!

  21. Quinc,
Hi buddy! I can’t wait to see you!! You keep doing all you can, leaning on Jesus to get you through, and we will keep praying and thanking God for sending His Son so that you could be healed!! Mariah picked out this prayer for you today so pray this out loud to yourself: To Walk in God’s Wisdom and His Perfect Will = (have your mom and dad speak it over them and you also!) “Father, I thank You that the communication of my faith becomes effectual by my acknowledging every good thing which is in me in Christ Jesus. I hear the voice of the Good Shepherd. I hear my Father’s voice, and the voice of a stranger I will not follow.
“Father, I believe in my heart and say with my mouth that this day the will of God is done in my life. I walk in a manner worthy of You Lord, fully pleasing to You and desiring to please You in all things, bearing fruit in every good work. Jesus has been made unto me wisdom. I single-mindedly walk in that wisdom expecting to know what to do in every situation, on top of every circumstance!
“I roll my works upon You, Lord, and You make my thoughts agreeable to Your will, and so my plans are established and succeed. You direct my steps and make them sure. I understand and firmly grasp what the will of the Lord is for I am not vague, thoughtless, or foolish. I stand firm and mature in spiritual growth convinced and fully assured in everything willed by God.
“Father, You have destined and appointed me to come progressively to know Your will – that is to perceive, to recognize more strongly and clearly and to become better and more intimately acquainted with Your will. I thank You, Father, for the Holy Spirit who abides permanently in me and who guides me into all the truth – the whole, full truth – and speaks whatever He hears from the Father and announces and declares to me the things that are to come. I have the mind of Christ and hold the thoughts, feelings, and purposes of His heart.
“So, Father, I have entered into that blessed rest by adhering, trusting, and relying on You in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah!”
We will keep praying this over all 3 of you today because we already know that God’s perfect will for you is to live life in abundance = HEALED to 100%!!! John 10:10 = Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy, BUT I (Jesus) have/has come to give you life more abundantly. And we all know you are saved, and saved actually means: healed, delivered, set-free, prospered, and made whole. Look it up in the strongs dictionary if you want more! I sure love you buddy and know there is NO weapon formed against you that will prosper! Satan wants to know what we truly believe!? Let’s ALL stand together and prove that “pot-licker” wrong!!!!!!!!!! We love and miss you – see you soon!
    The Harris clan

P.S. All of you reading this – Please pray this prayer and put Quincey, Shane and Michele’s names in it where the word “I” is! Thanks!!!

NO weapon formed against you will prosper, no matter what your eyes may see! We walk by faith, not by sight!! I love you and am so proud of who you are, and am excited to see who you are going to become! This is only temporary!!! You are a child of the Most High God, a Princess! Don't think any less highly than that of yourself. Get your thoughts ready for that testimony - it's coming!!! Lots of love and prayers,

One of her vocabulary words was endurance, which means strength, and she said everytime she said that word, she thought of you! 28. Hi Buddy,
I just want to let you know how much I love you and know that God's plan for your life is COMPLETE, 100% healing!! This is a trial that requires you to rely totally on God and not on your own strength, and that takes a strong person to be able to do that!! I know that when this is all said and done, we will all look back on this time and know God had His hands in every area of this situation. Keep in mind that this is only temporary and that God doesn't do anything half way! He is a restorer and a perfect One at that. You have that testimony to speak out and you can't have one if you are still laying in bed!! I know that it is coming, and it will not be long (it may seem long, especially to you!) because God is never late!! The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you - WOW!! That is powerful!! If the Holy Spirit raised Jesus up, He can heal you!! I love you and will see you soon! There isn't a time that goes by without you in my thoughts and prayers,
God Bless my HEALED and RESTORED NIECE!!!!

  29. Hi Buddy,
I have a few reminders that I want to share with you that God has been putting on my heart! One, we need to rejoice every minute as if the "seeing" of our faith has caught up with His promise in His word! Two, joy is our strength!! God gave us emotions, but if they don't line-up with His word and what He promises for us, then those emotions are from Satan, or our flesh! We need to check our emotions, words and thoughts (what we are thinking about at all times!) to see if they line-up with God's word. If they don't, we need to get rid of them immediately!! This keeps God's favor and blessings headed our (your) way without any road-blocks! I love you buddy and know that your healing was paid for 2,000 year ago on the cross. Jesus has already paid the price for 100% restoration and healing!! We need to keep rejoicing in knowing that it has already been done; how would we be acting if we received your text or call that you were on your way for ice cream and then over the pass? WE WOULD BE CRAZY EXCITED!!! That is how we should be now, if we truly believe! You WILL walk out of that hospital, and you WILL be a HUGE voice for God and His healing! Kiss your mom for me and know that your Aunt Tara is doing a victory dance every time God reminds me that it has already been paid for - don't laugh!! ha, ha! See you on the pass!!! Love you!
