Good Evening -

OOPS! Sorry. I was getting pretty confident in my abilities to blog....guess that serves me right, huh?!? Anyway......

I got a text message from Florida this evening. Quincey wants to once again say "Go Lady Bears". She was very happy about last nights win.

They want to send their love to everyone here. They are anxiously awaiting the day they can get out of Florida and back to Colorado.

They appreciate the comments and prayers.

I will update as soon as I have more information, but I do not expect to hear from them until tomorrow sometime.

"Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. Do everything in love." 1Corinthians 16:13-14

Tonight I pray that Shane, Michele and Quincey can feel the love and support that we are all sending their way. I continue to pray for Quincey's complete restoration.

"Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord." 2Peter 1:2

God's blessing and love to you all,

Shari

  1. I've Learned.... I've learned that it's not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts. I've learned that it takes you a long time to become the person you want to be. I've learned that you should always leave loved ones with loving words, it may be the last time you see them. I've learned that you can keep going long after you think you can't. I've learned that learning to forgive takes practice. I've learned that there are people who love you dearly, but just don't know how to show it. I've learned that true friendship continues to grow, even the longest distance. Same goes for true love. I've learned that no matter the consequences, those who are honest with themselves get further in life. I've learned that you can analyze your life and make the best of it. You can't change what has already been done wrong, but you can make a better future.. I've learned that if you truely believe you can move mountians.. God says the faith of a mustered seed can move a mountian, a mustered seed is pretty small.. Quincey I know you can move mountians I have seen you.. Please stay strong find all your strengths and remeber god loves you as do we.. Shurre

  3. Hi All!

Another cold one in Colorado. When you come back PLEASE bring some warm weather~

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. At this point we are not only praying for restoration but also patience to endure this battle.

    I trust in you, O Lord, my strength~Psa 18:1

Quincey, just know that in your situation you are ministering to others. You might never know who thay are but you are touching lives. It might be nurses, doctors or a stranger that hears your story. Only God can create something good from something tragic.

Praise be to the God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 2 Cor 1:3-4

With love and prayers for the whole family~

  5. I have been thinking about you and smiling. I smile at you being old enough to drink coffee, you being old enough for me to borrow your car, the floss that you have on your keychain...you know it says "Quincey's floss" (because people are floss thieves so you never can be too careful), mostly I smile about you breaking your arm when you fell off the couch while we were playing hot lava in my basement. I bet this situation really puts the pain of a broken arm into perspective. HAHAHA!!! I sure love you Quincey and admire the young lady you have become. Oh, and I smile about the sleep overs in the tent outside your old house when you drooled all over my pillow. I am willing to bet you that the list could go on for quite some time. Keep your head up and take care. Love you!
