Good Morning!

Good morning! I just spoke with Michele. Not alot of new information but she wants everyone to know that Quincey's attitude is very positive. Quincey got as much rest last night as possible in a hospital. Michele sounded really good this morning!

Michele goes to a computer in the hospital and prints off all of the comments from the blog. Quincey is really enjoying hearing them all. Keep 'em comin'!

That's all of the news that I have right now but I will send more as soon as I hear it!

"By faith, because of Jesus... we can rejoice when we run into problems and trials, for we know they are good for us - they help us learn to endure." Romans 5:1,3

I know that people have been asking what they can do for Quincey and the family. For anyone interested, there has been an account set up for Quincey at Alpine Bank. Deposits may be made at any Alpine Bank.

Positive thoughts and prayers for you all,

Shari

  2. Shane, Michele, and Quincey,
This is one of my favorite Bible verses. Somehow, it just seems right for the present time. We love you all! --Cousin Debbie

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
    Jer. 29:11

  4. Dear Quincy:

May God be with you at this time. May he give you peace and mercy as you overcome.
This is Jody. What can I say, "I know what you are going through." You will triumph. There will be good days and tough days. Just rememember that God is with you at all times. When it does not feel like he is there, your parents and loved ones are there.
    Notes for encouragement:
It gave me strength when my friends called. They felt awkward, not knowing what to say. Just saying hello was wonderful.
I am confident of this very thing, He who began a good work in you will complete it.
It is interesting how almost insignificant events can have dramatic impacts in our lives. There were many small events that played important roles in molding my character. Competition, friendships, trials, struggles, successes, all were important in my character. When I was going through my spinal cord injury, I remebered one event form high school wrestling. It was when I was a junior. I was wrestling off with an excellent wrestler. I was the underdog. During the match, the referee was biased and was cheating me. I looked at the head coach, Bellard Garcia. He signaled me to get him. Nevertheless, I won. This was significant because it taught me an important lesson: Life will cheat you and you can use it as an excuse for failure or you can suck it up and beat them anyway.

God Bless You. With Love, Jody

  6. "Wait for the Lord, be strong and take heart, and wait for the Lord." Psalms 27:14

"He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak" Isaiah 40:29.

"For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." - Isaiah 41:13

Every letter of His Word is true. Keep clinging to Him.

He said that you, Quincey, are PRECIOUS in His sight, that he HONORS you, because He loves you. Sorry it took me so long to get this blog to work on my computer. Quincey, I have seen your determined spirit at home, at school, and in other areas of your life. You have an effective willingness to work hard for what you want. I can't wait for the days your testimonies reach deep into the hearts of others bringing them help, hope, and Jesus! You are awesome, and you serve the God of miracles. "Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way." -2 Thessalonians 3:16

Hugs to all of you - Deb

  11. "Jesus said, " Your Father knows the things you need before you ask him." Matthew 6:8

Our church had a wonderful prayer for you and your family yesterday. We are so happy to hear of your progress! God is answering prayers in his own time. Just remember to be patient, as He is in control, and wants the best for you.

"You made my whole being; you formed me in my mother's body. I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way" Psalm 139:13-14

You are such a magnetic young lady, Quincey, rely upon your determined spirit and your unwaivering faith and He will lead you.

Shane and Michele, we pray for you often, for strength, stamina and patience.

    God's Blessings,

    Dianne and Craig Boe
