Apology and Quick Update

First the apology, I am so sorry that I didn't get anything posted yesterday. I have a couple scriptures I want to get posted but I can't find the paper I wrote them on.

Now for the update, I spoke to Michele very briefly this evening. Quincey had an awesome day today. One of the best days she has had so far! Praise the Lord!

"...And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perserverence; perserverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us." Romans 5:2-5

Hope, faith and love to you all,

Shari

  1. Hey-
I was driving past the chruch down the street from my house thinking about you. The sign said "Don't put a question mark where God puts a period." I use to question God and the way life works but I'm getting a lot better. I started thinking about how strong you are to push through this and overcome the odds. You are helping me find my faith and hope again. I just wanted to thank you for that. I hope you have a wonderful day!!!
    Love ya

  3. Hi Buddy! The girls and I did our chinese firedrill this morning for you. I think Mariah gets embarrassed that I do it in the middle of the street, but when you have to express your joy, you have to express your joy! I had to run around twice this AM because I was so excited about your bike ride yesterday! You ARE a super-woman!!!
There are times I wonder how petty and insignificant things and situations are compared to family. I have learned a very valuable lesson on love for a family and life in general! I know now that nothing else matters than family and your relationship with Christ!!! I really feel sorry for the families who go through life being angry and hateful to each other, and never know Jesus Christ as their redeemer. Did you know in the dictionary (not a Christian one!) that the definition to redeemer actually says "Jesus Christ"! WOW!! Even the dictionary knows that! What a hopeless and lonely life not to know Him! That just makes me more confident to speak out about HIM and to let everyone I come into contact with, know that Jesus Christ is the answer and if he can do miracles in our family, he can do it in any family. Lord knows our family was a mess!!!!!
I had to tell of your heroness (I have no idea if that is even a word, but it sure fits!) in my class this AM. Lisa Schmidz and Joe Shaffer were very excited to hear of your bike ride. I think more were too, but they were the only ones who said anything!
Put a couple of those Z Bars in your camelback for the trip over the pass; we are going to need some snacks because I am sure there will be some running and dancing involved in the trip (the ice cream isn't going to be able to stick around long!)
I love you buddy and know that when you are weak, He is strong! Just CALL out to Him and He will be right there. Lots of love and joy,
    Aunt Tara

  4. Hi Girls,

Michele, please read this prayer for both Quincey and Robin. You are all tugging at the heart today.

Lord we ask for your presence to fill this room. Please give Quincey, Michele and Robin the strength to overcome their weariness. Let the girls find comfort in your loving arms. You are the God of more than enough. Please let your healing touch flow through their bodies. Encourage them and build them up to fight the battles they each face. You are the ROCK an which we stand. You are the strength of our heart. It is YOU whom we praise. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen!

    Love you ALL!
