Another Apology....and UPDATE

I have to apologize again (its becoming a habit for me...) I'm very very sorry. I have had bronchitis and my three kidlets have been sick. Anyway, I just wanted to apologize. NOW FOR THE UPDATE....

I spoke to Michele this evening. Quincey had a great weekend and today was an awesome day as well. A great start to a great week!

Quincey was able to utilize the therapy bike today and rode for 5 1/2 miles. (Again, this is a therapy bike but WOW what an accomplishment!)

Occupational therapy and physical therapy today went awesome!

Quincey started school today. She also started some educational classes today through Craig. Let the learnin' continue!!

She is getting more and more distinct feeling in her tummy and her feet. She is also getting more and more temperature sensation in her left arm. BABY STEPS BABY STEPS!

QUINCEY SNYDER'S APPETITE HAS OFFICIALLY RETURNED! Mom is very very happy!
(About that ice cream ...there is a little sandwich shop down the street from Craig that has awesome ice cream and sandwiches....used to be there anyway!)

Quincey and Michele requested that this scripture be put on tonight:

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." Mark 11:24

I feel blessed to update you all on the progress that Quincey is making and I apologize for the delays that I have been experiencing of late.

God's love and peace be with you all,

Shari

  1. Hi Girls!

So very glad to have the update. Sounds like a busy weekend and a busy start to the week.

Snow here for the last couple of days. Miles was called out to sand this a.m. Someone forgot that it's still winter and was driving to fast. He found out that even a skiff of snow can be very slick. He went through the fence in his Toyota FJ Cruiser. No one hurt~just the fence and the car:)

With the weather turning bad this week the elk have been busy in the yard again. They began to strip one of the pine tree trunks. I'm sure it's a spike bull trying to show off.

We had 5 bald eagles in a cottonwood tree in the afternoon. They have a damage hunt going on in the field beside us and they are after the piles. They are wonderful to watch. You forget how big they are until you're that close to them.

We have started a healing series in church (so appropriate for right now). It will include physical, mental, spiritual and miracle healing. The series started with the verse from Proverbs that we've used before.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Pro 3:5

I keep this one on a sticky note. It is simple but powerful.

We keep you all in our prayers. Please let Robin know we have here in our heart also. Most of all remember God is with you.

    Love to ALL!
    Miles & Teresa

    P.S.

    Quincey,
We are so THANKFUL that your appetite is back!

  6. Hi Quincey,
We just got back from Florida last night, man are we tired!! Have not been posting anything cause of busy schedules. Was glad to hear of your many exploits, but not surprised. Just business as usual for you.
Have been praying for you everyday and believing for your total restoration, AMEN.

I was just watching a little TV, when a show came on about strange and unexplained creatures that science refuses to acknowledge because of proof of there existence. You know, like the Abominable Snowman, and Big Foot, and The Lock Ness Monster. Then the thought came to me, " Why don't they do a segement on the North
American Canus Lazimus?" That's right, Ole Howdy. He's the Laziest Canus I know of. To capture footage of the laziest canus in North America, they could just pepper the area with dog treats and bits of candy. They should have no trouble getting the shot since he moves very slowly and deliberately. When startled, he can reach speeds just faster than a 3 toed tree sloth on Ambien. High speed film?? Forget high speed film..... cause at wide open throttle, you still need to set stakes to track his movements. Long range telescopic lenses??
Not needed, cause you can sneak right up on him, he's deaf as a post and twice as stupid!!! For bait you could use a corn dog, just like a Dork Fish!! I don't know if National Geographic would pay for footage of this endangered species or not, maybe they have all the film of uninteresting animals they need. ( Like the common tree slug ) You could sell the editors on him by comparing him to a cameleon, only with hair. He moves at about that same speed, and his eyes both orbit opposite
each other. Or perhaps you could compare him to the African Dung Beetle. You know that giant beetle that rolls rhino dung into balls and pushes it all over the savanna till he finds an empty hole in the ground, then he crams it down the hole and crawls in after and spends the next 2 weeks eating that tender morsel!! That would make a great Saturday morning show for the kids, uh??
Well let me know, I'll split the royalties with you. I'd better get to bed
so I can think up some more interesting stuff about your dog.

Tell Michelle to let us know if she needs help with anything.
We love you guys and pray God's blessing and His peace on you all.

  7. St. Peter and Satan were having an argument one day about basketball. Satan proposed a game to be played on neutral grounds between a select team from the heavenly host and his own hand-picked boys.

"Very well," said the gatekeeper of Heaven. "But you realize, I hope, that we've got all the good players and the best coaches."

"I know, and that's all right," Satan answered unperturbed. "We've got all the refs."

Hey, Quincey, I wonder how many of 'em are from Moffat County!

It has been wonderful to hear of your progress. Keep up the hard work, you can tell it is paying off. Make sure your mommy and daddy take care of themselves too. Even the biggests "fans" need a half time break.

Everyone misses you and always asks about you.

"Give and it will be given to you." Luke 6:26

    God's Blessings,

    Dianne and Craig Boe

  8. Hey Quincey,

Great hearing about all your accomplishments and healing. Even though we knew it was going to rain down on you sooner or later. "He told us so."

Quinc, and Michele don't ever think your alone or that anyone has forgot about you girls cuz there are Mtns. of soldiers over here praying and cheering for our "Heroes" and can't wait for you to join us again (family and community). It won't be long now! Quincey keep the FIRE built and Michele keep it stoked!

Quinc, tell those nurses to stand back and give you a wide birth cuz things are fixin on pickin up around here and it could get a little bit "WESTERN".

We love you and keep up the hard work!
    P.S. Momma Michele you "Roll".

    Your Proud,
    Uncle Trent

  10. Hi Buddy!
I was in City Market yesterday and saw Pam from the office at the High School and she wanted me to tell you that the mints are getting low, and that it isn't the same without you! You are very missed and loved!! (Like that surprises me!!) I am keeping a log of your miles on the bike, so keep them coming. Marcia says to tell you hi and that she is praying for you. She has your bacelette on and tells me not to let it fall off during our workouts.
I can't wait to see you this weekend!! I would love for you to show me the bike and some of your workout, even though you officially don't have to do anything over the weekend. I know that Uncle Trent is right, the rain is here!! Look out Satan - you are the LOSER (fingers in an "L" on top of your head!) in this race!! Healing Rain!!!
I loved your picture with your new slippers! Boogs (Fartsack!) saw those in Durango and had to get those for you. She showed Mrs. Brunner the picture from my phone; I hope that was OK!? Both of the girls are going with me this weekend to see you. They are excited to see their heroic cousin in action!
Have you listened to those CD's from Mary Francis? I have had Lisa ask me at church. I would love to hear them with you or parts of them; I know they will make you have a run away!!
Well, Fartsack just called and I need to go pickup cookie dough from their fund raiser. I will bring some over this weekend for us to make - any requests for a certain kind? Love you lots and get those slippers ready to run - it's coming soon!!!
Love you and your mom tons!!
    Aunt Tara
