Update - and its not even late!!!

Hello everyone! I just spoke to Michele this evening and we have renewed our commitment to try with all of our power to keep the blog updated nightly!

Quincey is doing awesome! She continues to have a very positive attitude! She always has a smile on her face. She's working hard.

Quincey and Michele are very happy to be in their new room. Being in the new room is providing Quincey with some well deserved and needed freedom. Quincey has decorated their room with basketball, scriptures and items from her friends.

Tomorrow evening the recreational therapy department will be having an outing to a Nuggets basketball game. Quincey and Michele will be going on their first outing! They are very excited! Go Nuggets (Quincey may need to give them some pointers!!)

Quincey's temperature sensation is returning! WAHOO! Her blood pressure seems to be regulating itself more and more! Praise the Lord.

Just a real quick update on their friend Robin. Robin was moved to the east wing on the same day that Quincey was! I am very glad to hear that Robin is doing well also!

Michele requested that we pray for their friend Aubrey. Unfortunately, she is dealing with a few medical issues and our prayers need to be for a "healthy body".

Michele and Quincey's scripture request for tonight is:

"'Have faith in God,' Jesus answered. I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, "Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him." Mark 11:22-23

I received an email from Tara Harris (Quincey's aunt). She is requesting that anyone who has pictures of Quincey during this basketball season, please send them to her. Her email address is: harris1535@hotmail.com. Thank you in advance!

God's blessings and peace to you all.

Shari

PS .. I have a prayer request. I graduated with Kimberly Pruett in 1987. She recently had a baby boy (within the last week). The birth was rough and now little Asher is having some health issues. His name is Asher Livingston. His parents are Kimberly and David. He also has two older siblings. Please pray for this family and those who are taking care of this precious child. Thank you.

  2. Quincey, It is so good to hear of all of your progress! Keep determined, and full of prayer it is definately working.

"I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?" Jeremiah 27:32

We listened to the game on the computer last night (kmts.com) and they mentioned your name several times, also there is a article on the sports news on the same website, saying how the team has dedicated the season to you. Your a pretty special girl to everyone.

I'm sure you'll have a blast at the Nuggets game. What a neat experience. Hi to you both Shane and Michelle we miss you. I say your Grandma Jean and Grandpa Jim the other day out for a drive. I think I was so dirty from all the burnt trees that they barely recognized me. Oh well, you always knew that Black is my favorite color, you would have just thought it was normal.

Hope you have a great week, we'll keep you, and everyone working so hard at Craig and the whole Rifle Girls team in our prayers.

    God's Blessings,
    Dianne and Craig Boe

  3. Hi Guys! We have been thinking about you and are excited about your next step in this journey that God has put you on.

You know there are only 2 approaches to life: Fear or Faith. We know what approach you are taking.

Eph 3:30 (AV) " God is able to do superabuntantly, far over and above, all that we dare ask or think. Infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams."!!!!!!!!

Isn't that awesome? We know, in God's own timing you will be healed. We also know he is using you for something HUGE right now, Actually he is using all of you for something HUGE right now, Shane, Michele, Lyndsey, Dillon, Quincey, Mackenzey and Reiley. EW know you are all blessings to others and I am sure to those you don't even know. The Lord works in mysterious ways, aren't you excited to see what He is up to?

We love you all, keep your heads high. God Blees you all, we are waiting to see you face to face.

  5. So good to hear such positive news about you Quincey. We are praying for your friends also. Your team played a game that was fun to watch last night. Not real pretty, but they came out on top. They seemed a bit nervous to start the game then they eased up. It was pretty physical - some elbows were flyin'. God bless you Quincey.
