A Day Late!

Well, Happy Valentine's Day to you all. I spoke to Michele on Thursday evening (sorry - its now Saturday early am). I apologize that once again I've failed at getting this blog updated.

Quincey has been getting more movement in her right and left toe as well as her left pointer finger! WAHOO! Praise the Lord!

They have been setting Quincey up with a "pointer" so that she can start texting! HUGE milestone for a teenager!

The scripture that they requested yesterday (Thursday?) was as follows:

"...let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Hebrews 10:22-25

Love, peace and joy to you all,

Shari

  1. Hey Quincey,

"Powder River", little buddy, it sounds like your soldiers on this side of the mtn. are about to have a run away like you are. Keep the heat on, you've got the devil and all the morones rocked back on their heels when you feel it's time give them a good POWER DOUBLE then we'll finish him off with a REAR NAKED CHOKE. Shut some air off those suckers! Quinc, I've had my air shut off several times and trust me it'll bring the best of em' to there milk. Maybe thats whats wrong with me too much air at to long of a time killed some brain cells! Oh well we'll choke some air out of those negative morones by doing what your doing. Keep up all the hard work and keep everybody rocked back on our heels with the great accomplishments you are doing! We're proud of you and it won't be long now! Also keep the feed bag on!

  5. Quincey,
I am praying for you. I was very late in hearing about your accident.
I am so plesed to hear how hard you are working and what great progress you are making! You go girl! You are making this native of Rifle very proud!
I live in Michigan and am so glad that God hears and answers our prayers no matter where we live! I love the scripture passage in Hebrews above that Shari has posted. I want you to know that you are inspiring me and "spurring me on" to do more and try harder to be more like Jesus. If you can work so hard in your restoration process--I can certainly try harder to become more like Jesus in my spiritual walk. Thank You. Keep it up!

  6. Quincey,
We are so encouraged by you. It is good to hear you are reaching these milestones. I think it is amazing how your story shows how God uses us. I hope you got the flowers the 4-H club sent you. We are all praying for you and for your recovery.

  7. I keep forgetting to tell you that Randi stands in for you at her Grandma's church every Sunday. It is totally AMAZING how many people in so many places are praying for you. Have a good week!

I really miss you guys I wanted to come see you guys but I have been really sick the last few weeks awful stuff and don't want to give it to any of you.. Feeling better now so hopefully soon.. Crysta's last game let see they played hard and did really well but they still lost 16 to 21.. only by 5 points this time of course, A team won theres agian. I believe it was 20 point lead agian but it was a good game they all played hard and did a good job.. New Castle did a good job they played hard.. We went to the Spegetti dinner but we couldn't stay we all decided that if we were going to watch a game it had to be with you in it, So sorry we didn't make it to one before. But I will be at your game soon as you are ready wont miss it.. We all take for granit certian things and think things are going to be the same always, I try really hard not to do that and I did it..
