Quick Hello & Update

Hello!

Quincey continues to work hard! Yesterday (I forgot to put this in last nights update - sorry!) Quincey tried a manual chair and did very well.

Quincey and Michele had a great time at the Nuggets game last night! I remember how great it felt to be able to leave Craig for a little while.

They love and appreciate you all.

"I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart,.... On the day I called You, oh Lord, did answer me; You did make me bold with strength in my soul. Though I walk in midst of trouble, You will revive me;... The Lord will accomplish what concerns me; Your lovingkindness, or Lord, is everlasting..." Psalm 138:1,3,7,8

In God's love,

Shari

PS Thank you for your prayers for Asher! He was able to return home today! PRAISE THE LORD!

  3. Hi Buddy!
How is my superwoman Quincey doing today? I just love looking at my text pictures of your smiling face - they make me smile every time I look at them!! I can't wait to be able to see you again, and I am making a bet with you: If you come home before I get over to see you again, I will owe you... (we need to talk about that? I am not sure, but I bet I can make it worth your while!!)

Your dad is bringing over our video camera to take lots of video of you in action, and for the final "GRAND FINALE"!! I want to get it all on video - it is your testimony to the world! He is also bringing over more lotion that Darla made for you. Darla tried to call your mom's cell phone (when it wasn't working properly) and couldn't get her and didn't know if it was OK for her to go ahead and go up to your room. She said she will try again when she gets to Denver again; I told her you would be home before then and I would personally introduce you to her.

You are up to 42.5 miles on the bike as of Thursday this week. I am sure there is more from today, so just let me know so I can keep the tab going. I am also counting the miles we walk on the way home from Denver, and double the miles if we run!! The camelback is still hanging on the hook ready for the phone call; Boogs' is also hanging there ready to go! Her and I did the CFD this morning and had a great time screaming your homecoming and healing to whoever would listen!! Ha, ha!

Keep the healing scriptures and CD going and filling your mind and heart CONSTANTLY!! Don't let satan even attempt to change your mind of your future and destiny!!! Your are HEALED and no one is slowing down on the prayers! We will see this to the end, and the lives you are touching and will touch is totally a GOD THING!!

Oh, sign-up for 4-H is today. I went to the office and told them about your situation, and they said they would waive the turn-in date for all three of you (you, Macky, and Rei). Just let me know when you have them all filled out and I can get a leader to sign them and get them turned in for you! I can't wait for you to give Boogs "pointers" with her pig; she is going to do both pig and lamb! I hope she realizes the time?! Oh well, it will be fun to do the projects, especially with you and your family involved!!

I have a scripture for you: Gal. 6:7 = "Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." Therefore, you are going to be reaping a harvest only God could supply!! Your labor of listening to scripture/CD's/etc. and sowing is not in vain! I love and miss you tons!!
    Aunt Tara

    Hi Michele,
I just wanted to let you know how proud I am of you also! I know it is hard to stand every minute, when you the "seeing" hasn't caught up with the PROMISE! But, we walk by faith, not by sight! I know you will also reap what you have sown, in Quincey and in every person there that you have touched. Remember that we are still in never-ending prayer for you, Quincey, and family! You will see God's Promise first hand and all this sacrifice will pay off!! I love you and am glad to be closer to you again! Love you,
    Tara

  5. Quinc,
Wanted to share a story with you Quinc. We visit as a family a lot on your progress at breakfast, supper and family time. Shaye was listening in on the miles you where putting in on the bike, so it inspired her to go ride her bike. I was watching her out in what the girls call the dessert and the dirt and dust was flying so I went down to see what the stirr was and she was stuck, her training wheels were holding her from going, so I told her I would take her training wheels off for the third and final time. Up to the shop we went, took the training wheels off, instantly she baled on her bike and confirmed she needed no help made two fast laps around the shop and CRASHED. I stood above her and asked her if she learned something? She said yes, I want my training wheels back on! "NO Shaye let me help you and we won't need those stinking training wheels." "O'TAY dad," so she ran around to find her scid lid strapped it on, pulled her stampede string so tight it was shutting off her blood supply to her thick head and was ready to go. I let her get set keeping ahold of her coat and in about two strides she was yelling at me to turn her loose, so I did and the way she went MACH 9, she looked so stinking cute with her skid lid and that little bike, I don't know where she stole the thing, but she looked like one of those monkeys riding TEX.
My point is Quinc, it takes a special person to inspire that little TURD WHACKER (Shaye) and you got that job done! Keep inspiring EVERY person just like your doing! Thanks little buddy!
We love what your doing and are PROUD!

    Your Proud,
    Uncle Trent

  6. Well, well, well,..... so you went to a Nuggets game uh? Must be nice. I tried to send you a post before you went, but this stupid blog is smarter than me and would not let me post it. I spent at least an hour laying out my most profound thoughts on numerous subjects, then I typed in "The Secret Word", (what's up with the secret word any way?) then my post disappeared into "Cyber File #13". I was very bummed, when I say it took and hour, that's 32 words.

Unless your Mother has blocked me??? You don't think see has black balled me, do you?? That's pretty low Michelle, you can't go around shutting down free speech like that. Do you think you work for the government or what? My opinions on sensitive subjects like Shane and Howdy are just as important as yours. (I'm telling the FCC and
the ACLU on you!) Where's Jessy Jackson when this kind of abuse is going on?

Any way Quincey, did you stop to think that they might get you on camera and put it up on the big screen? You would be seen all over the nation, at a Nuggets game, with YOUR folks? I don't know about you but that scares me. That could ruin your reputation. I hope your Dad didn't do anything to embarrass you. (I'm sure he did) But at least they don't let dogs into those arenas, your safe there. Some Hollywood type would see Howdy on the big screen and before you could say "Holy dead beat dog, Batman" some lucky chess club would have a new mascot. (YAWN)
He's the perfect mascot for a chess team don't you think?

I can just see it now, boy cheerleaders jumping up and down with pom poms and short pants on, between chess moves, Rah, Rah, He's our man, if he can't do it, NO ONE CAN!!! Then Howdy runs, (well walks kinda fast) onto the floor and barks or spins around, (not too fast or he'll get dizzy) and the crown jumps to their feet and lets out a roar. just like in the Coliseum at Rome. (touching ain't it?)

I was reading your Uncle Trent's post and had a melt down hearing about Shaye's training wheel incident. I hope he never gives me a nickname. Of course since "Turd Whacker & Fart Sack" are used, I guess only the good ones are left. I wonder what Cheryl's nickname is?

Quincey we're praying for you every day, and believing for a miracle.
Can't wait to hear that your Aunt Tara had to get down the camel bag or what ever that thing is and head to Denver with some power bars and an extra pair of socks. Hope the weather is nice cause there won't be any stoppin ya.
We love you, Ken & Karen

DISCLAIMER .... Karen K. is NOT responsible for any duragatory remarks aimed at Howdy or Michelle.

  8. Hi Quincey,
It's only been 13 hours since my last post but I just had to give you the news. They had special prayer in church today, for special needs and healing, and Teresa went flying up there to stand in for you. Every one was praying, so get ready for a miracle! It was just too perfect and I prayed my little heart out along with every body else. I'll keep watching
the blog for an update, Get your boots oiled up, your going places!!!

By the way, Karen and I drove by your house today on our way to Taughenbaugh Mesa, and low and behold, tottering across the yard,
looking like a drunk coming home Saturday night after a bender, was
Him,....... yes Him. He needs no introduction and you know who I'm talking about. I kid you not, that's what she said. I now have a credible witness to my ramblings about that mutt.

Just had to let you know the good news........Love ya Ken & Karen

  10. Quincey the Bear that holds the mints just hasn't been the same lately. Pam has been filling him up, but he still seemed down. I figured it was because you weren't the one keeping him full. I told him you'd be back soon. I told him God made you a tough Bear also and that the Lord has a plan. He accepted it and is gladly passing out candy again.

  11. Quincey,
Hey pardner! Needed to touch base with you, to see how oh' dad was keeping up with you. I had to chuckle the other day when he told me you were running the whip on him. All of us need some of that!
To give you an update on our little cycling lepricon (Shaye) she trying to match you Quinc, on the miles you put in on your bike. I don't think it's the miles she needs to count, it's the speedy rotation of those midget legs as her knees hit her chin each time.
It sounds like your doing a fantastic job, buddy! keep the smoke a rollin and as always we love ya and are praying for ya!

    Your Proud,
    Uncle Trent
