Quick Update

Good evenin'! I just had a real quick conversation with Michele! They are at the Nuggets game tonight. This is their first outing without a nurse! WAHOO!

Quincey continues to work hard, continues to have a positive attitude and her faith is strong! Today she got into the standing frame and tolerated it well. The standing frame is something that can be hard to build yourself up to. (Of course, Quincey makes the hard stuff seem easy!!)

They love you all. They appreciate all of your prayers and continued support.

Scripture for tonight:

"For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." Luke 11:10

"No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead he puts it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light." Luke 11:33

God's love and blessings to you all,

Shari

  1. Quincey and Michele,

You guys are constantly in our thoughts and prayers and you are a constant reminder to us of what real faith is. You are both an inspiration to all of us and we love you.

Brooke and Trent are going to her Hunters Safety course this weekend, she is pumped! She can't wait because that means she can go turkey hunting this spring. She has wanted to get a turkey for a long time and is so excited!

Shaye is also having a first this weekend. She gets to go stay at her friends house all night! She has stayed the night with family, but never anyone else. She is so excited, mom and dad are a little scared though!

We are busy calving out heifers and calves, it is nice to be doing that again after 6 years off. We have a heifer and calf in the pen and the mom doesn't have any milk so the girls are feeding it. They are having fun with that. It is like a new breath of fresh life watching these onery little calves running around and it reminds us how blessed we are to be able to live the lifestyle we do and to raise our kids where they can learn about God's creation.

Just an update on what we are doing, now here is a scripture for you guys!

Rom 8:28 (NLT) And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

We think this scripture is a great testimony to you both, EVERYTHING WILL WORK TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD OF YOU!!

    we love you.

  3. Hi Quincey, Michelle and Shane,

What great news! It is wonderful to watch how God works in you and through you all.

This verse is one of my favorites:
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the Lord, "and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exhile." Jeremiah 29:11-14.

Keep up the hard work, we all realize that you are working harder than any of us ever have at anything, and that is so inspirational to us all.

Be sure to rest, and take a break so that you are able to be strong for each other. We miss you and hope to be able to see you all soon.

    In God's Love,
    Dianne and Craig Boe

  4. Quinc,
I've been hearing some great things from over in that kneck of the woods. It sounds like things are moving more and more. I really didn't expect anything less from you, Quinc. "SHOWTIME IN THE ROCKIES" Bud I say, "SHOWTIME". That's what I like to hear all good news!

Brooke got her hunter safety card so she's excited. Shaye didn't get into a fist fight or burn the house down at her stay over so we're all excited on those results.

Tell your dad Quinc, that there wanting to fire Mad Jacky Garrison from the wrestling position over a little scuffle that happened this winter at the Red Barn that sent a few participants on there heads one evening! No sense of humor on the local streets here! Jack is fixing on getting HOMETOWNED in his own town!

That's the big news for this hillbilly household, keep the fire going Quinc, it's sounding better and better all the time! Love all of you and praying for ya!

    P.S. You still Roll Michele!

    Your Proud,
    Uncle Trent

  6. Hi Buddy!
I just had to write you a quick note to let you know that your "Welcome Home" sign is ready to be put up on the overpass at Papa's!! The girls and I had to clean the floor of the garage to get the paint off, but it was all worth it! I can't wait to put that sign up on the way to join you on your walk over the pass!!! It's only a matter of time - and the time is short!!! Love you lots and keep those muscles and limbs moving!
    Your Aunt Tara

P.S. Michele, I sure enjoyed texting you last night!! If you get lonely again or just need to talk, please don't hesitate to text me somemore - I love talking to you (and I am learning how to text faster!). Love you tons!
