Quick Note

Good evening! Just received an email from Quincey and Michele.

Quincey had another great day. She improves daily.

They send their love back home and can't wait to see you all soon.

" 'For I know the plans I have for you', declares the Lord, ' plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future'." Jeremiah 29:11

Wishing hope and prosperity to you all,

Shari

  1. Quinc,

Wanted to drop you a line, I haven't heard much from your side "It's must be the calm before the storm." It sounds like everythings a rockin on your end, so keep up all the good work. We're praying for you and thanking him for all the wonderful miracles he's doing in your body right now!

I'm so proud of you buddy keep a chugg'n.

Also I've got a spot for you on the Triple J, elk hunt starting Nov. 11. We need to get applied for and I've got the rifle if needed or we can chase it down a foot and I'll provide the knife.

So at that note kick that rehab in the butt, we've got some important stuff coming up! And kick your mom in the butt while your at it!

    Your Proud,
    Uncle Trent

  2. Hi Quincey - We talked with your dad yesterday and heard first hand all the good news about what you are doing. Yeah for you and God!
We are having snow. We probably have 8 inches. There isn't anything on the streets, but it keeps us from riding the Harley. We got 4 rides last week.
Skip's sister was here this weekend from St.Louis. They skiied twice and we snow shoed on Sunday where we all the picked berries. We went beyond that point and up a hill to place where you can get a 360 degree view of the mountains. Wow!!
Planted seeds one day last week. :-)
Heard that Powder Horn ski area had to close one lift and the trail because 2 bears were wandering around. A sure sign of spring.
We pray for you to have a week that is even better than last week.
God is on your side and no one can fail with a team like that!
Love to you & your mom,
    Skip & Suzanne

  4. Hi Quincey,
Glad to hear your still "kickin it" on the therapy. Sounds like your uncle Trent is going to need you in good shape for hunting season. Killing an elk with a knife is not for the faint of heart. Your just lucky he's not taking you lion hunting!!! If you get in real good shape he'll probably give you a rolled up newspaper and turn you loose bear hunting. But knowing you I'm betting against the bear. I hope your Mom is doing good. Did she ever get any food?? If you need us to we could Fed Ex a rice cake over there. Maybe a jar of peanut butter or something. I looked for the Joe Weider protein enhanced Weight Gainer W/vitamins, but it was all gone. I think a lot of the ranchers use that as calf starter so it's hard to get this time of year. Maybe just a couple pounds of milk chocolate would do the trick. It might make her sick for a couple hours, but then you can watch her start gaining weight.

Quincey, I'm leaving today for the Tres Dias weekend in Cedaredge, and you can bet that when they ask for special pray requests that I will stand in for you. God always moves on these weekends so keep an eye out for an angel. He may have a special gift for you, I hope so. I haven't seen your Dad for a while, so tell him I said hi and if he needs any thing to give us a call and let us know, we're not psyco, you have to tell us!!

Well got to bolt, see you soon
    Ken & Karen

P.S. Tell Howdy I said hi

  6. Hi Girls!

If the TV is at all accurate you are getting blasted right now. We've also been hit pretty hard today. Blizzard like at times. I knew last week was just a tease.

Have a couple of verses we want to share today out of Colossians.

"We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints-"
    Colossians 1:3-4

"For this reason since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding."
    Colossians 1:9

I know Paul was addressing the church but we feel the same about you guys. We are PROUD of your FAITH and WE HAVE NOT STOPPED PRAYING!!!

    Love to all,
    Miles & Teresa

  7. Hi Quincey - We just had a great visit with your dad and caught up on all the progress that you are making. You and God are making a great recovery team!
Yes, your dad ate a piece of chocolate chip cake. And yes, he did like it, but the visit was more important.
We have had 20 inches of snow since Sunday. The sun has helped to pack it down a bit, but we are so ready to get back on the motorcycle.
Too much snow to plant any flower seeds.
Skip told your dad that we have already planned out what to make for dinner when we come over to see you after you get home. :-)
Skip has been pushing snow around all day, which makes him sound like a bully. :-)
Remember to keep your eyes on Jesus.
Love to you and your mom,
    Skip & Suzanne
