More Biking!

Hello everyone!

Quincey got on the therapy bike again today. She has ridden quite a few miles (Michele was unsure of the exact number of miles but she said that Aunt Tara would know!) Quincey is able to make the bike move with her own muscles without the electrodes. She also had the opportunity to get on a different type of therapy bike. Its called an Armitron. This bike doesn't require electrodes but has a motor that kicks on only when needed. She was able to peddle 15 minutes forward and 5 minutes backward! With very little or no help from the motor! YYYAAAHHHHOOOO! She was able to go shopping today with her Grandma and Grandpa Snyder. She helped Grandpa pick out a couple of ties, some dress pants and some cool dress shoes. They said it was great to sneak away during the day.

For all of you prayer warriors out there lifting up Quincey everyday they are asking that you not only keep standing on God's promise of complete and total restoration...life and wholeness but for God to continue to strengthen her wrists, hands, fingers, and triceps. Your faithfulness is such a blessing to their family. God is so good and they have the privilege of seeing it every day.

"Now this is confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him." 1John 5:14-15

They send all of their love.

Shari

  1. Hello Everyone!

I'm in the office and have felt a great urgency to post a prayer for all of you and the wonderful facility you are in.

    Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift this hospital, the doctor's, the entire staff, it's patients and families up to you Oh, Lord.
We ask that you work amazing miracles through each and every individual. We pray that the wise are confounded at your wonders.
We pray for the peace that only you can provide to be present at all times. Please give patients and family members the strenghth to combat each obstacle they face.
We pray that your healing rain flows through the rooms and the halls. Please comfort all that walk through these doors.
May you use this facility to glorify your Holy name. You are the strenghth of our heart and we praise you.
Please shine your face upon the weary and weak and make them strong. Bless these people with a double portion.

In Jesus' name we pray. Amen!

    Love to All,
    Miles & Teresa

  2. Quinc, How's it going over there bud? I'm sure it's all peaches, ready to get the leash off and it's coming soon bud! It's good that you went out with grandma and grandpa yesterday shopping. I bet your vocal cords were exercised repeatedly shouting at grandpa. You gotta love him!

Your dad told me you gals had a visitor the other day Keenan alias. "Ottis" Turner. I sure miss that hammer head! I haven't seen him in about 14-15 years, it doesn't sound like much has changed which I guess isn't all bad. It's neat to know Quinc, that you touch and have an affect with those different people in all walks of life.

We are so thankful of God and all the miracles he is performing in you Quinc it's really awesome! You've got the negatives sweating bullets right now, it might be a good time to hit them with a good POWER DOUBLE take'em down and put another choke hold on'em! just to show them whose in CHARGE! "THE QUINCMASTER"

Love you bud and will always pray for ya!

I want to suggest something to you and your mom. You both might want to slow down on the cigaretes. I here it slows the recovery down a little! Just a suggestion!

    Your Proud,
    Uncle Trent

  4. Hi Quincey,
Haven't heard any great reports for a couple days, but I'm sure your cutting the rug over there. We just got back from Chuckie Cheese after that little swaraye that we had in Grand Junction. with the kids. That was sensory overload!!!! To many flashing lights and bells for my liking.
And that oversized mouse walking around was too much. Karen liked it I guess. Your sisters have been there before and they knew the routine well. Every body left with a few trinkets and a belly ache. Oh, and of course, we were all on a "sugar high" that wore off on the trip home. We stopped and climbed a hill looking for lizards, and somehow I was the horse for Riley. Still don't know how that happened, I'm not too smart I guess. But all the kids had a good time. We we're going to take in a movie, but we we're too late and didn't want to wait till the next showing. Escape to Witch Mountain I
think. Odd that "The Rock" had to stoop to doing a kids movie, but it might be good. As you might have guessed, when we picked up the girls, I was almost "noticed" by your watchdog. He was laying on a big pillow on the porch. I swear he didn't even see me climb the steps!!! I called his name, and he never even flinched. Is he blind, deaf, and dumb??? Poor fella, must be tough going thru life with absolutely no redeeming qualities at all. They definitely broke the mold when they made Howdy, 53 years ago.

Well Quincey, keep in touch and let us all know what's going on over there. By the way, we had communion at church today so Karen and I agreed for your healing, then took communion for you. Pray everyday and remind Jesus of his promises, not that he would ever forget, but he likes to know we haven't forgotten.....

We love you and hope to see you soon
    Ken & Karen
