Happy Monday! I just received an email from Quincey and Michele.
Quincey had an awesome day. She got into the therapy pool again today. They had her standing with very little assistance, doing more walking and they worked her core muscles, shoulders and arms as well.
She discovered today that she can almost completely bend and straighten the fingers on her left hand and is beginning to see more movement in her right hand. The muscles are very weak and seem to fatigue very easily but every day the stamina and strength improve. WAHOO!
"The most important thing they would like to say is "all the Praise, Glory and Thanks goes to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ."
Because...."What is humanly impossible is possible with God." Luke 18:27
The scripture they requested is as follows:
"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful." Hebrews 10:23
They wish to thank you all for your continued prayers, support, cards, letters, care packages and visits from all of those who love and care for Quincey so much.
In God's love,
Shari

Hi Buddy,
ReplyDeleteWe are so excited to put up that "Welcome Home Quincey" sign! Although, Jesse (our cat) keeps trying to lay on it and get it all dirty. I want to go put it up now so Jesse can't lay on it anymore, because I know that you are walking out of there SOOOOOON!!! We have so enjoyed our CFD in the mornings! We just want you two to come join us, and we are going to do it in "downtown" Rifle! Stopping all traffic and making everyone look and see just how awesome our God is!! Keep sending videos of those legs doing the motion they were made to do - WALKING, RUNNING, SKIPPING, JUMPING, ETC. We can't wait to see you again - it will be soon because God is always on time! Spend some time and write down all of the words that have been spoken over you, and the dreams and visions you have had. Then, sit back and watch them all fall into place! I love you two and can't wait for the HUGE HOMECOMING PARTY!!!! Love you tons,
Aunt Tara

Hi Quincey and Michelle,
ReplyDeleteKathy came by yesterday and she had you on video, on her cell phone "running" across that pool. Your little legs reminded me of those water toys like I used to play with in the tub, when I was just a little kid. OK, that I still play with in the tub, so sue me. It looked like you were going about 20 knots across the water. I hope they have someone directing traffic in case somebody was just floating along resting. I wouldn't want you to up end them and drown someone. I hear you fingers are getting more flexible and stronger, when you get back we'll do "Roman knuckles" and see who has been working out the most.
We're so very happy to hear all the good news and our prayers are being answered everyday. You are an inspiration to us all. And we're kind of inspired by your Mom too, she really is a soldier. Michelle I'm never going to belittle you again or give you a hard time. You and Quincey just impressed the heck out of me, God bless you both.
I want to be there when Tara sets up that banner. I'd truly like to see that. Sounds like that will be real soon. Keep treading water and we'll see you soon. By the way, if you want me to, I'll take Old Howdy down to your grand dad's pond and give him some water therapy. We'll see if he can tread any water,,,,, just kiddin
We love you guys, Ken & Karen
Jesus said,"In the world you will tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
