Good evening. Quincey had another good day. She got to go outside again. She is extremely focused in her therapy sessions! Working hard!
Quincey loves all of the cards and comments that are coming! She has been encouraged and uplifted by them all. She also has her cell phone there and enjoys the text messages that she has received as well. She misses you all and loves to hear from you! (by whatever means you use) Therapy sessions have been keeping her extremely busy (which is what we need her to be right now) so she will probably not be responding at this time BUT....please keep in touch!
"I sought the Lord and He answered me; He delivered me from all my fears." Psalm 34:4
"Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the woman who takes refuge in Him." Psalm 34:8
"I wait for the Lord my soul waits and in His word I put my hope." Psalm 130:5
Guess I'm in a Psalms kinda mood....
Hope, Faith and Love to you all.....
Shari

Quincey and the rest of the Snyders,
ReplyDeleteI want you all to know how very very proud I am of you! Your faith is such a testimonial to everyone who knows you. You make everyone stronger just by being YOU!

Hi Quincey - I read that you got outside today and your weather is awesome. We actually had a bit of rain today on top of all our snow which makes it a bit mushy on the road. Skip took the snowmobile out today with friends and had a great time. Tigger and I enjoyed the fire. It sounds like you are really busy with your therapy. Keep working and keep smiling. Love - Suzanne
ReplyDeleteHey Quincey girl, Michele & Shane,
ReplyDeleteI finally decided to see if I can figure this blog thing out. Just wanted to tell you all (if I haven't before) just how awesome you all are! Like Shari has said...you guys amaze me. Quincey, I can see the onery grin of determination on your face now! Your mom and dad are such an awesome example of true love, faith and grace and they have done an amazing job of passing that on to you and your sisters. I know you all find strength in our Lord and what a sweet place to be...in Jesus's loving embrace. I wish I could give you all a big hug now. You all are constantly in our thoughts and we never cease to pray. The power of prayer for you Quincey is awesome!
I had to grin when I saw that you are reading "90 Minutes in Heaven"...I am reading the same book right now. I don't know if Tara brought you the iPod she talked about (I was going to ask her), but there are 2 songs that have been on my heart for you. I was going to have Tara download them before she brought you the iPod. Anyways, they are "Call on Jesus" by Nicole C. Mullen and "Through the Fire" by Randy Travis. They are some favorites of mine and everytime I think of you guys or pray for you they are on my heart. (I think maybe Bunny has been putting the Randy Travis one on my heart as it was one of her favorites!)
Here's to another great day!

"I lift up my eyes to the hills- where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip- he who watches over you will not slumber"

ReplyDeleteHi Guys!!
ReplyDeleteJust got through shoveling the wet slushy mess outside. At this point it has turned rain like. You can't believe the fog we are having. It's one of those days I have to tell Satan to STEP OFF (it's how we rebuke him). He loves to play with our minds and create depression.
Sounds like your week has gone well. We pray each day strenghthens you.
Wanted to share with you out of Romans today.
~Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12
~May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
I have a theme going there.
Isn't it amazing that God gave us so many encouraging words? He prepared us for the circumstances of life. Those circumstances will either make us cry or make us laugh. We must choose to laugh.
Without spell check on these comments it will keep you laughing.
Love to All,
Miles & Teresa
Hey Quincey,
ReplyDeleteIt is so great to hear how great you are doing!! We know you will see this through no matter what it takes. I know you will do your part so let God take care of the rest. The things you can't do anything about, give those to God. You and your family are such an inspiration to us with your faith to trust God and to encourage others to do the same. You came to mind when I read this scripture:
1 Peter 5:6-10 "Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that HE may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on HIM because HE cares for you! Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in your faith....And the God of all grace, who called you to HIS eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will HIMSELF restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To Him be the power for ever and ever. Amen."
Keep on believing, keeping on trusting, Quincey and the whole Snyder Family, and we will too! Let us know if we can do anything.
Love Galen and Sonya
